Everyday, hundreds of children pass away because of childhood cancer. It is not RARE! It could be your child, so please help saving the lives of these children! Every 3 minutes, parents hear the words “Your child has cancer." The world of these parents is breaking apart. With better treatment, parents and their children would not need to suffer the long and hard way of beating cancer. 60% of childhood cancer patients relapse and die of cancer. There are incurable cancers like DIPG, a brain cancer, 1% of children diagnosed with it live 5 years after diagnosis! They are treated with chemotherapies from the 70s! And with treatments that are meant for adults! Children need different treatment options than adults. Their bodies are always growing. Even when these children survive childhood cancer, there are many side affects from treatment that are long term. Hearing loss, amputations (because of bone cancers like osteosarcoma), hair not growing back normally etc. The list is endless. Please help me making a change for these children! I’m doing this to honor every childhood cancer warrior. When breast cancer gets awareness, childhood cancer should too! Vote for more funding for childhood cancer research!
