More and more cosmetics and cleaning products are displaying the cruelty free logo these days. This means that they are not involved in any animal testing, whether it's the ingredients or the complete product. This is absolutely amazing and so many people are making a conscious effort to buy only products displaying this logo.

There are , however, a huge list of big brand companies who sell in this country that are still involved in animal testing.

We need to do better at being conscious consumers in all areas, but this is one area that could easily be changed .

Not only is it "not nice" that animals are used for products we choose for our own vanity (I'll let you do your own research on what happens), but there is also an environmental impact on having these animals, reared purely for being tested on.

The pandemic has shown us that we have a dangerous relationship with animals, not only the debated origin of the virus but also looking at the Danish mink farms. Having these animals in captivity to be tested on is an unhealthy relationship with nature and one that is just not needed anymore.
