Nicht nur die Gäste vom Hotel RIU Oliva Beach, Corralejo, Fuerteventura, machen sich große Sorgen!

Die meisten kommen seit vielen Jahren regelmäßig ins RIU Oliva Beach und den dazugehörigen Apartments, manche mehrmals im Jahr und einige Überwintern sogar ein paar Monate dort.
Viele, die als Kind schon mit ihren Eltern hier waren, machen nun selbst mit ihren Kindern hier Urlaub. Viele ältere  oder behinderte Gäste schätzen die Anlage ,da alle Bereiche bequem mit Rollator oder Rollstuhl zu erreichen sind. 

 Für die Gäste ist dieses Hotel mit seinem wunderbaren Strand nicht eine x-beliebige Unterkunft. Deshalb hatte es stets eine hohe Auslastung und würde nach einer Renovierung mit Sicherheit wieder gut gebucht werden.

Besonders das Personal des RIU Oliva Beach ist hervorzuheben. Viele der 400 Arbeitnehmer arbeiten dort seit ihrer Schulentlassung, die Älteren seit vielen Jahrzehnten. Sie sind stets freundlich und zuvorkommend und arbeiten gerne dort, das spürt man als Gast sofort! So mancher Gast, der nach einem Jahr wieder im RIU Oliva Beach Urlaub machte, wunderte sich, dass er von einigen des Hotelpersonals wiedererkannt wurde.

Das Hotel RIU Oliva Beach ist für viele Gäste quasi zu einem zweiten Zuhause und viele vom Personal sind zu Freunden geworden.

Nicht nur diese 400 Menschen und ihre Familien sind in ihrer Existenz bedroht
- gerade in Zeiten, in denen der Tourismus auf den Kanarischen Inseln rückläufig ist: Ein neues Arbeitsverhältnis wird mit Sicherheit schwer zu finden sein; das betrifft besonders die älteren Arbeitnehmer!

Auch die Zulieferbetriebe und deren Personal, den Läden in Corralejo, gastronomische Betriebe im Umfeld, Taxifahrer, Autovermietungen, Busunternehmen, Katamaran-Touren u. ä. wären von einer Schließung des RIU Oliva Beach betroffen. Also wesentlich mehr als nur 400 Personen.

Vor fast 2 Jahren hat RIU den Antrag auf Renovierung des Oliva Beach bei der Behörde gestellt und alle Pläne eingereicht.
Seit dieser Zeit wartet man vergebens auf eine irgendeine Reaktion.

Stattdessen wurden nun Stimmen laut, die behaupteten, das Hotel RIU Oliva Beach würde durch seine Existenz die Ausbreitung die Dünen des Naturparks (Parque Natural de Corralejo) verhindern und auf Dauer vernichten. Dabei berücksichtigen diese „Naturschützer“ bei ihrem lächerlichen Versuch offenbar nicht, dass es sich um Wanderdünen handelt und dass es sich bei dem Wind um Passatwinde handelt, hauptsächlich (zu 90%) von Nordwesten, Norden und Nordosten. Mit ständigen Veränderungen der Dünen ist also fest zu rechnen, und zwar nicht in Richtung des Hotelkomplexes.

Was wollen die offenbaren Gegner mit dem Ignorieren des Antrags und der offensichtlichen Blockade der Renovierung erreichen?

Wenn die komplette Anlage nicht schnellstens saniert und renoviert wird, wird sich der Zustand der Gebäude in absehbarer Zeit weiter verschlechtern und untragbar sein.

Die Folgen:
-> Reiseunternehmen werden es aus dem Programm nehmen, weil sie Regressansprüche von Gästen fürchten.
➜ es wird zu Entlassungen kommen!
➜ das Hotel wird an eine Billig-Kette verkauft, die sich nicht so gut um die Gäste, ihr Personal und die Umwelt kümmert.
➜ schlimmstenfalls wird es geschlossen...und dann? Eine weitere Bauruine befände sich mit Sicherheit an der Küste Fuerteventuras?
➜ Verlust von hohen Steuereinnahmen!
➜ wesentlich mehr Arbeitslose in der Gemeinde La Oliva!

Will man das ernsthaft?
Kann sich Spanien und die Kanarischen Inseln das leisten?

Fakt ist:
➜ RIU will renovieren!
➜ RIU hat das Geld dazu bereitgestellt!!!
➜ Firmen und Arbeiter für die Renovierung stehen bereit!
➜ Personal ist vorhanden, das auch nach der Renovierung hervorragende Arbeit leisten wird!
➜ RIU zahlt Steuern an die Gemeinde, die diese dringend benötigt - auch für den Erhalt der Umwelt und den Naturschutz!
➜ die Gemeinde La Oliva hat RIU ihre Unterstützung zugesagt.
➜ Aber RIU sind die Hände gebunden und behördlicherseits wird die Angelegenheit einfach „ausgesessen“ und die Renovierung verhindert!

Aus den vorstehenden Gründen fordern die Unterstützer dieser Online-Petition und ich, das Sanierung- und Renovierungs-Vorhaben nicht länger zu blockieren und es unverzüglich zu genehmigen!

Für den Erhalt der Hotelanlage RIU Oliva Beach!

No sólo los huéspedes del Hotel RIU Oliva Beach, Corralejo, Fuerteventura están preocupados! La mayoría de ellos han venido al ese hotel y sus apartamentos regularmente durante muchos años, algunos varias veces al año y otros incluso pasan unos meses allí en invierno. Muchos de los que estuvieron aquí con sus padres cuando eran niños están ahora de vacaciones con sus hijos.

Para los huéspedes este hotel con su maravillosa playa no es cualquier tipo de alojamiento. Por lo tanto siempre tuvo una alta utilización y se reservaría después de una renovación con seguridad de nuevo bien. Especialmente el personal de RIU Oliva Beach debe ser enfatizado. Muchos de los 400 empleados han estado trabajando allí desde que dejaron la escuela, los más viejos durante muchas décadas. Siempre son amigables y corteses y disfrutan trabajando allí, ¡puedes sentirlo inmediatamente como un invitado! Muchos de los huéspedes que regresaron a RIU Oliva Beach después de un año se sorprendieron al ser reconocidos por algunos de los empleados del hotel. El Hotel RIU Oliva Beach se ha convertido en un segundo hogar para muchos huéspedes y muchos de sus empleados se han hecho amigos.

No sólo estas 400 personas y sus familias están amenazadas en su existencia. - especialmente en un momento en que el turismo en las Islas Canarias está en declive: ¡sin duda será difícil encontrar un nuevo empleo, especialmente para los trabajadores de más edad! Los proveedores y su personal, las tiendas de Corralejo, los restaurantes de la zona, los taxistas, las empresas de alquiler de coches, las empresas de autobuses, las , las excursiones en catamarán, etc., también se verían afectados por el cierre de RIU Oliva Beach. Esto significa más de 400 personas.
Hace casi 2 años, RIU solicitó a las autoridades la renovación de la playa de Oliva y presentó todos los planos. Desde entonces, han esperado en vano cualquier reacción.
En cambio, se alzaron voces que afirmaban que el Hotel RIU Oliva Beach impediría la propagación de las dunas del Parque Natural de Corralejo por su existencia y las destruiría de forma permanente. En su ridículo intento, estos "conservacionistas" no parecen tener en cuenta que las dunas están cambiando y que el viento es al revés, principalmente (90%) del noroeste, norte y noreste. Así que podemos esperar cambios constantes en las dunas, no en la dirección del complejo hotelero.

¿Qué quieren lograr los opositores obvios ignorando la solicitud y el bloqueo obvio de la renovación?
Si no se renueva y restaura todo el complejo lo antes posible, el estado de los edificios se deteriorará aún más en un futuro previsible y se volverá inaceptable.
Las consecuencias:
➜ Las compañías de viajes lo sacarán del programa porque temen reclamaciones de recursos de los huéspedes.
➜ habrá despidos!
➜ el hotel será vendido a una cadena barata que no cuida tan bien de los huéspedes, su personal y el medio ambiente.
➜ en el peor de los casos estará cerrado....y entonces? Otra ruina de la construcción sería sin duda en la costa de Fuerteventura?
➜ ¡Pérdida de altos ingresos fiscales!
➜ sustancialmente más desempleados en el municipio de La Oliva!

¿En serio quieres eso? ¿Pueden España y las Islas Canarias permitírselo?
El hecho es que:
➜ RIU quiere renovar!
➜ RIU ha proporcionado el dinero!!!!
➜ Las empresas y los trabajadores están listos para la renovación!
➜ Hay personal disponible que hará un excelente trabajo incluso después de la renovación!
➜ RIU paga impuestos a la comunidad, que los necesita urgentemente - ¡también para la preservación del medio ambiente y la conservación de la naturaleza!
➜ La comunidad de La Oliva ha prometido su apoyo a RIU.
➜ Pero RIU las manos están atadas y oficialmente el asunto está simplemente "fuera" y la renovación impedida!

Por las razones anteriores, los partidarios de esta petición en línea y yo exigimos que el proyecto de renovación no sea bloqueado y aprobado inmediatamente!

They are always friendly and courteous and enjoy working there, you can immediately feel that as a guest! Many a guest who returned to RIU Oliva Beach after one year was surprised to be recognized by some of the hotel staff. The Hotel RIU Oliva Beach has become a second home for many guests and many of the staff have become friends.

Not only these 400 people and their families are threatened in their existence. - especially at a time when tourism in the Canary Islands is on the decline: it will certainly be difficult to find a new job, especially for older workers!

The suppliers and their staff, shops in Corralejo, restaurants in the area, taxi drivers, car rental companies, bus companies,  catamaran tours, etc. would also be affected by the closure of RIU Oliva Beach. This means more than 400 people. Almost 2 years ago, RIU applied to the authorities for the renovation of Oliva Beach and submitted all plans. Since then, they have waited in vain for any reaction.

➜ substantially more unemployed in the municipality La Oliva!

Do you seriously want that? Can Spain and the Canary Islands afford it?

➜ Companies and workers are ready for the renovation!
