The Defence Legislation Amendment (Enhancement of Defence Force Response to Emergencies) Bill 2020:

This proposed Bill allows the Federal Government the use of foreign police and military troops in Australia during ‘emergencies’ and provides them effectively blanket immunity from criminal and civil liability for any wrong doing.

Recently Australia’s own, Special Forces are being investigated for alleged war crimes in Afghanistan

We the undersigned have been advised legally and believe that the proposed legislation to be unconstitutional and treasonous.

We do not consent to foreign and UN troops in our streets potentially capable of raping and pillaging, free from accountability like recent history has shown in Haiti, Rowanda, Somalia.  

The petitioners ask that the Senate:

object to the passage the Defence Legislation Amendment (Enhancement of Defence Force Response to Emergencies) Bill 2020.
