MAKE NAUGHTY DOG REWRITE THE LAST OF US 2 STORY !

This petition expresses the viewpoint of fans on the current situation with The Last Of Us 2 story. We really hope that you are tolerant enough to listen to any opinions, without ignoring them, without accusing us, your fans, of homophobia for no reason at all, without banning your subscribers on Twitter and hiding their comments on YouTube and Instagram. As you say - be open-minded.

• The number one reason for so negative reaction from fans was HOW Druckmann sadistically executed Joel!
   By spitting on Joel's bloody, battered corpse Neil Druckmann spat in the souls of thousands of fans, thereby disrespecting us. And, believe us, it doesn’t matter whether main character was killed by a gay or transsexual, an atheist or Christian, an Asian or African American. The most terrible thing is the way of killing.The focus was on humiliation and disrespect for the protagonist, but it seems Druckmann just wanted to settle the score with this character. But Joel represents a loving parent who is not willing to lose a child for the second time. We love Joel for who Joel is as character.
  Writer is trying to make us empathize with the new character Abby who is guided only by hatred and desire to take revenge and make us believe she is the victim of circumstance.

  All his attempts to demonize Joel make no sense: this character was never full of hatred and senseless thirst for murder. Unlike Abby, who killed him in brutal way only because of her own hatred and was not able to forgive him even after Joel saved her life.

• The second reason that disappointed us, your fans, was the masterpiece Druckmann destroyed. The first part was brilliant, not because of the graphics or gameplay, it was loved because of the main characters,their relations and that sincere story that was showed to us and we all adored and loved dearly. This game gave us hope. But in sequel the real values, the concept of good and evil have been destroyed.

  Martin Luther King, Jr. said: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

• The third reason is that we disappointed with his behaviors, how Neil Druckmann is treating other people who have criticism. The story can just be bad and a person can just not like it and not be sexist, homophobic or racist.  Fans want to get satisfaction from playing the game and enjoy story.

  One more reason why fans are disappointed is agenda of hatred.It is clear that you wanted to draw our attention to the problems of sexual minorities, but it turned out that, protecting the rights of some people, he promotes personal politics of hatred, disrespect, not tolerance, for people of certain races, creeds and sexual orientations.Don't need to tear others down in order to lift others up. Games must bridge the gap between different people, not make it worse and dig the trench deeper. That’s not the way how to fix gender and racial inequality, that’s not how you be progressive.

  Also, fans feel that Naughty Dog have been deceiving fans, showing trailers with Ellie and Joel and saying that they are still the main characters. It was clear that we were all waiting for the continuation of their story.After all, if the trailer had been shown in which Abby kills Joel and becomes a new protagonist at once, the game would have failed. By deceiving us, Neil Druckmann pursued only his personal goals.

  Of course, there will be those who will buy it, but they will absolutely not care for those supposedly ambitious ideas, story and personal politics, since only gameplay and graphics will be important to them.

   We want to believe that You are able to assess the current situation with the game scenario objectively and have the courage to admit mistakes and rewrite the game scenario. No matter how long it will take Naughty Dog, fans just want to see a worthy continuation of the first part. It's high time to realized that one person destroyed the franchise and open up mind for a different view, Naughty Dog true fans' view.

1) The story needs to be completely rewritten.No prequels. We want you to respect our beloved characters and your fans.We want sequel about Ellie and Joel relations.Joel and Ellie deserve better.
