By signing this petition you are demanding that the Boy Scouts of America speak up on the current issues of racism in America and puts into effect a zero-tolerance policy for racism.

There are many issues in the Boy Scouts of America right now. I am an Eagle Scout and it pains me to see that this is what my organization has become. However, I know it is my duty as an Eagle Scout to help make a change to this organization. 
By signing this petition you are demanding that the Boy Scouts of America speak up on the current issues of racism in America and puts into effect a zero-tolerance policy for racism. If a public statement is made by the organization it would give courage to so many scouts to speak up against racism. It is in the Scout Oath that scouts, "Help other people at all times." We as scouts have recited this Oath and yet our own organization refuses to help in the movement to end racism in America.

The fact that there is not yet a policy regarding how to handle racism in the organization is upsetting. Every organization should be vocal on no tolerance of racist ideologies. I know that there are other issues in the BSA. But this is an immediate issue that has a lot of people looking for support from their organization. Please demand that the BSA speak up and supports its scouts.

They must make their statement public on all forms of social media, to all websites they own or control, to the press, and on to YouTube. The zero-tolerance policy may be written by the organization and must be made public on all the same platforms as stated before. 

If the BSA does not change or refuses to change, then I wish to no longer be an Eagle Scout.
I am doing my best as an Eagle Scout to help this organization become better. Now I need them to show me that they are willing to become better.
