Tik Tok is a popular mobile application that allows people the luxury of having entertainment and educational videos directly at their fingertips.

Currently, the Deaf & HoH communities, and individuals with Auditory Processing Disorders struggle understanding content that is not yet accessible for them. Tik Tok is marketed as an app for all, but is excluding a substantially large community that have to consistently fight for autonomy and accessibility. 

There is a growing number of creators that have figured out how to caption their videos. However, it’s unfortunate the only way for creators to add captions to videos is to manually type them out using the text feature, and set the duration times for them to play. 

This is an advanced skill, and impossible for many people that already struggle with fine motor capabilities. This is too much work and causes a lack of motivation to make videos with the overwhelming pressure to make them accessible. 
We need an option that automates captions, as well as editing capabilities on said captions in videos to make Tik Tok a platform for everyone.
