Gorgeous African supermodel Vixen (Marilyn "Mari" Jiwe McCabe) is one of the most incredibly powerful crimefighters in the DC Universe and is DC Entertainment's premier black superheroine. She can channel all the powers, abilities, knowledge, senses and wisdom of the entire animal kingdom, regardless of whether the animals are extant, extinct, alien or mythological. Vixen can also combine the abilities of more than one animal and use those different animal abilities at the same time to defeat her opponents. In addition, she has the potential to be nigh immortal if she subconsciously channels the longevity of turtles, sea sponges or a certain species of jellyfish to prolong her own life for centuries.

Limitless solo tales and limitless team-up tales can be told about a woman this powerful, but the portrayals of this extraordinary character have been lacking; Vixen not being given the opportunity to headline her own solo series since 1978 has been a wasted opportunity. In order to rectify this horrendous oversight and to finally make Vixen the iconic female character she was always meant to be, we are asking DC Entertainment to please finally feature Vixen in her own solo ongoing monthly comic book series. Not a one-shot, not a mini-series, not a maxi-series, but a solo ongoing monthly comic book series where Vixen is front and center and is the star of the book.  There are a lot of avenues that can be explored with Vixen in her own solo ongoing book, since she is all of the following:

1. A billionaire (canon as of the most recent Justice League of America series)

2. A successful businesswoman

3. A supermodel/fashion model

4. A fashion designer

5. A crimefighter

6. An Animal Master

7. An Animal/Human Rights activist

8. A genius (if she mimics the genius-level intellect of certain humans, which are also animals. The magic of her powers  makes this possible).

9. The "champion" of Anansi, a West African trickster god

We are asking that DC Entertainment do everything within its power to elevate Vixen to an iconic status and treat her with as much respect, care, love and attention as the company always treats Batman. Vixen's inclusion in all of DC Entertainment's efforts to acquaint the general population with its DC Universe heroes and heroines would be another tremendous step toward showing true diversity within the DC Universe.
