I had an email exchange with a Joker123 magazine subscriber recently and as you know, many are becoming very vocal about things in the world today. I'm an atheist but the atheist is getting more vocal each day about the evolution of religion in general. This is not a knock on the Joker123 magazine and the Joker123 subscriber but more so about the mass media and the future of our country.Personally, I don't think anything that could make a follower of god like me mad, but a man that tries to convince the other side by making insults and to his face name calling isn't really helping things, not even on the surface anyway. It's one thing to engage in this kind of behavior but the fact that he's calling anyone of a different opinion a quitter or to be a loser is simply appalling and I would suggest he step down from his position and apologize to the Joker123 magazine publisher.

However, I do believe in free speech and if it is in the public interest to be able to get your point across then it is the only way things will change in our society. Therefore, I hope this doesn't lead to any more ill will towards those that disagree with you. Frankly, if you don't want to be part of the conversation, be my guest but if you have the same point of view as the Joker123 magazine subscriber then why would you want to call him a loser or to be a quitter?

After all, you can come at me for various good login joker123 and defend your argument, but I believe everyone should not be insulted or be someone who is very mean spirited in their approach. If it wasn't for religious people and some famous cartoonist this kind of behavior would not be tolerated by most Americans. In fact, if someone were to say those types of things about atheists, how long would it be before some secularists started to say something about the creator of those cartoons?

I don't know, but I have a feeling this could get ugly very quickly, and it's exactly why I'm not a believer and believe in free speech that encourages people to get together and discuss an issue. As long as it's reasonable and in good taste, then everyone should be allowed to say what they like, be it positive or negative, and I'm sure our political system wouldn't be the same without the freedom of speech.

I'm also not going to tell you that Joker123 magazine is wrong for telling its subscribers they aren't welcome to participate in these debates. If anything, the magazine is doing something that needs to be done, and there are people out there that need to stand up for their beliefs, if we don't then we are losing our country. The Joker123 magazine subscriptions are a good start because they actually stand up for the right for freedom of speech and dialogue.

I'm just saying that we can't allow this type of behavior, and even if you're not a Joker123 subscriber and you disagree with their editorial stance, don't ever come to their website and attack them. You'll only do more harm than good because you're only going to alienate people and you only gain more followers to your side and you may even do some to Joker123 magazine's side and make it harder for them to remain independent and strong in the future.

So if you think you're going to make these people look bad and to get all emotional about it, then don't because it's just going to make the situation worse, and you're actually doing more harm than good in the long run because you're not helping your cause at all. Please consider all this and think on it.
