Fans, as many of you have probably heard, NBC cancelled Debris after only one season. As a devoted Debris-er, I am absolutely devastated by this. Debris has meant so much to me this year; it was the one show I looked forward to that incorporated both science and mystery, the one show I waited hungrily for as each episode was released.

Ad note: this is not the first time this has happened. This is not the first time a show that we love has been stolen from the screen. I am in love with the character development, Finola and Bryan's burgeoning partnership, Maddox's complex motivations, the question of who gets to control the technology in the first place, and so much more. Moreover, Debris is not just about science, it is about human emotion, human connection, unique in its own right. Debris has a lot to offer to viewers, and this is only the beginning! 

Let's show NBC, and any other streaming platform, that we will not give up so easily! We love our show, and we want to renew Debris for season 2!  #renewdebris #debris Remember, we can do this! Cancelled TV shows have been successfully renewed in the past thanks to fan efforts (see savelucifer, among others) and we have the power to do the same!
