We're school students from all across Australia. Most of us have never met before but are united by our concern about our planet which is dangerously warming. We're striking from school to tell our politicians to take our futures seriously and treat climate change for what it is - a crisis.

Will you sign our petition so kids across Australia know you back our demands for all politicians to:

1. Say no to new coal, oil and gas projects
2. Power Australia with 100% renewable energy by 2030
3. Fund a just transition and job creation for fossil fuel workers and communities

Climate change is one of the biggest problems facing the world and it isn’t being addressed quickly enough. The United Nations tells us we have just 12 years to avoid the worst impacts of climate change. Yet our politicians are helping billionaire Adani to build one of the world's largest coal mines.

In Australia, education is viewed as immensely important, and a key way to make a difference in the world. But simply going to school isn’t stopping climate change or dangerous coal mine. Our politicians aren't doing nearly enough to stop this crisis.
