The RCMP should be immediately scrapped and removed from Alberta. It should be replaced with a new Alberta Police Service(APS).

The RCMP is a deeply corrupt institution which selects for itself which laws it will enforce and which laws it will not.

If you are hosting an illegal, dangerous, and potentially life threatening railway blockade then you can count on the RCMP to not enforce the law. However, if citizens take it on themselves to remove the blockade - THAT the RCMP will stop and make arrests.

The RCMP will not investigate the SNC Lavalin corruption in the Prime Ministers office. They will not investigate the very obvious obstruction of justice we saw.

But the RCMP will take it on themselves to break into the homes of Albertans during a flood. They won't do this to help anyone. They do this to confiscate the legal firearms that Albertans had in their homes. 

We understand that this will cost Albertans more to start a new APS than it does to continue with the RCMP. However that is money well spent to get that corrupt police force out of Alberta. It is also money well spent to reduce federal influence that Eastern Canada holds over Alberta.
