CompTIA has put in a lot of effort to lobby against consumer protection legislation that would allow independent repair companies and consumers to service their own property. I am proposing that we stop 

1. Spending money on CompTIA certifications
2. Including CompTIA certifications in our hiring processes

until CompTIA releases a public statement confirming they will no longer lobby against Right to Repair legislation. I believe that CompTIA certifications like the A+ stopped being useful over ten years ago and that their paid efforts to support companies in their effort to make repair more difficult & out of reach for everyday consumers should be the nail in the coffin. Either productively contribute to society, or we stop giving you money.
