「伊勢志摩国立公園内　的矢湾に計画中のメガソーラー建設の中止を求めます」

「日本の原風景ともいえる自然がある」

としてG7サミットの地に選ばれた志摩市ですが、急速に 進んだ大規模太陽光発電所開発及び計画面積は、すでに約87万4000m²東京ドーム約18,7個分 (2016年12月現在)にも及び、

開発現場から汚水、土砂流出、道路冠水、騒音などの被害が出て おり、市民の安心、安全な生活は脅かされつつあります。

的矢湾のメガソーラー計画は湾に面した広大な面積の山林を切り崩すため山の保水力の低下 を招き湾内及び近隣の漁業、養殖業、海女業に甚大な被害がもたらされる事は必至であり、

風光明媚な的矢大橋のたもとに施設が完成すれば観光業への影響も懸念されます。

太陽光発電の“目的”はCO2削減ですから、CO2を吸収する森林の伐採を伴う太陽光発電所設置 は本末転倒といえます。

景観そのものが重要な観光資源の志摩市において、豊かな自然を切り 崩し、太陽光パネルで敷き詰められた光景に旅人は何を感じるでしょうか。

   さらに、伊勢志摩国立公園は環境省から世界水準のナショナルパークとしてブランド化を図る 国立公園に指定されており、これ以上の環境及び観光資源の劣化は許されません。

私達は本計画の中止を速やかに表明する事を市長に求め、県、国に働きかけてゆきます。 皆様のご協力をよろしくお願いします。

Request of the suspension of the construction of the Mega solar panel project in Matoya Bay, Ise-Shima National Park (exploitation surface 194,724m2).

Shima has been chosen to be the place where the G7 summit would be held because of its beauty.
However, the rapid development of the large-scale solar panel project (already a 874000 m2 area as of December 2016) and its area of construction, results in filthy water, sediment discharge, flooded roads and noise pollution. Those damages are threatening the citizens' peace of mind and safety.

The construction of the Matoya Bay's Mega Solar project will bring inevitable great damage to the bay itself as well as the fishing and aquaculture industries surrounding the area by cutting through the mountain forest which will result in a degradation of the water-retaining capacity.
In addition, the completion of this project will be a blight on the Scenic beauty of the Matoya Bay producing a prejudicial effect on tourist business in Shima.

Furthermore, the purpose of solar energy is to reduce CO2, however the installation of solar panels involve lumbering large area of forest, forest which already helps reducing CO2, it is what we would call mistaking the cause for the end.
The scenery is also an important reason why the tourists come to Shima, they enjoy the rich nature around here. How would the tourists react when the view of the beautiful forest mountain will be degraded by solar panels?

Furthermore, Ise-Shima National Park needs protection from the Ministry of the Environment as the Japanese National Parks should aim at the World National Park standard, therefore it is not tolerable to deteriorate Ise-Shima National Park.

We request the prompt interruption of this project.
