1 November 2023: Please Sign Our New Petition to Stop Moore Park Golf course from being reduced to 9 holes

Moore Park Golf Course is one of Australia's (and the Southern Hemisphere) busiest golf courses. It is part of a significant and historical sporting precinct used by millions every year.

The 18-hole championship course is one of the few courses close to the CBD that offers equal access to all and is open for public play the majority of the time. By reducing the course to 9-holes Clover Moore will be ripping out the heart of the golf community of Moore Park and denying affordable public access golf to those who can not afford the membership fees of private clubs in the area.

Golf has a proven track record of physical and mental health benefits, can be played by all genders and ages and promotes a community of mateship. During the Covid pandemic golf was one of the few sports that could be played and rather than experiencing declining numbers, golf has seen a resurgence in popularity. Far from being a waste of space, Moore Park Golf Course is providing thousands in the local area with a purpose in these trying times.
