April 28, 1994: At the start of a cross-country transit, Sea King 12425 has an engine malfunction near St. John N.B., followed by an explosion and fire. Engulfed in smoke, the two pilots managed a survivable landing that saved two crew members. Pilots Wally Sweetman and Bob Henderson died.

We lost our mentors Bob and Wally when this happened and it would be nice to see a dedicated sign honoring their memory on the Pat Bay Highway.  I went down to California last year and I saw so many dedicated highways to their fallen heroes that I couldn't get this idea out of my mind.  Let's honour Bob and Wally.
