A rumor spread that there will be a Gen 8 which will have more than 80 new Pokémon in the 2nd half of 2019. Unlike "Pokémon: Let's Go Pikachu" & "Pokémon: Let's Go Eevee" It will contain better quality and graphics on Nintendo Switch than any other Pokémon game.

That being said, Misty is the well-known water Pokémon Gym Leader in Cerulean City in the Kanto Region. She and Ash Ketchum have a very long friendship and may end up being more than friends.

Misty's sisters won a trip around the world, meaning that Misty had to run the Cerulean Gym while they were gone. Misty was sad about having to leave Ash.

Ash and Misty were originally supposed to be married (which was the Japanese trailer for the first movie, that could have ended the anime entirely), but later was scrapped, as shown in this video

Misty even had her own song explaining her love to Ash and how she feels about him.

See Here...

I grew up with pokéshipping because it is the first relationship in an anime I enjoyed.

They shown rivalry in the past, but after a while, they've shown to like each other.

And to be honest, I never really liked Serena. She was too one-sided and was one of the main reasons that the popularity of the anime increased. There was nothing really special about her, except for her crush on Ash. Other PokéGirls, like May or Dawn, each had a specific dream they wanted to conquer.

Ash and Misty liked each other, even though they weren't mature enough to admit it. They even showed jealousy. People like me would want Misty to return to travel with Ash in the Gen 8 anime.

It's our only chance for Misty to come back. Sign now before the Sun and Moon anime ends!
