We need YOUR SUPPORT to tell the Shire of Augusta Margaret River that Arts Margaret River are the only organisation with the PASSION, EXPERIENCE and COMMUNITY BACKING to run high calibre arts events in the Margaret River HEART (formerly the Margaret River Cultural Centre). 

Arts Margaret River have been the major provider of entertainment, arts and culture in the Shire of Augusta Margaret River for almost 50 years, delivering exceptional regional arts experiences spanning theatre, dance, visual arts, the Margaret River Readers & Writers Festival, Cowaramup Sundowners, volunteer-run cinema and much more. Despite this, Arts Margaret River has so far been unable to secure an agreement with the Shire of Augusta Margaret River to continue to manage the Margaret River HEART. 

Arts Margaret is supported by over 300+ volunteers, has significant arts grant funding, and the kind of community support that money can't buy. If the shire were to to run the Margaret River HEART without Arts Margaret River, the COST TO RATEPAYERS would be significantly higher with little to no volunteer support and without funding from arts grants. Let's get Arts Margaret River to do what they do best, while keeping the costs to the community down, so the arts can be enjoyed by everyone.
