Why this petition matters

To the Mayor of the City of Mandurah

We, the undersigned, being residents of the City of Mandurah or visitors to the Peel Region do respectfully request that City of Mandurah Council considers that Mandjar Markets Assoc Inc, can hire and remain in its established location of 13 years on the Eastern Foreshore, Mandurah Terrace, Mandurah.WA.6210 during October and May each year, and that the current trading restrictions imposed by the Council be removed and reverted ; Which are as listed;

1.Fortnightly trading restrictions imposed on Mandjar Markets be reverted back to weekly from October to May excluding the dates of the City of Mandurah’s major events held on the Eastern Foreshore.

That the current ban be removed on stallholder’s selling market type food and beverages ie; donuts,hot dogs, spuds(baked & spiral), hamburgers,cup-cakes, muffins, sno-cones and soft serve ice-creams, coffee, cool drink, bottled water (as all sold previously at Mandjar Markets during the 2018/2019 market season and prior seasons).
The ratepayers and residents of Mandurah and the visitors to the Peel Region ,whose names and details are set out on the attached list support this proposal.
