Why this petition matters

Started by Kanyanta M.

Ever since the PBS Kids GO! original show, Wild Kratts, premiered in 2011, it has gained popularity since then, becoming the the number one most watched show on all PBS stations across viewers ages four to 11 as of November 25, 2014, having a website on the PBS website, with many games and features. Of those games, there were Go Cheetah Go, Glide Draco Glide, Kickboxing Kangaroo, Caracal Leap, Go Nuts! Firefly Flash, Ride on Remora, Dolphin Dive, Slither Run, Flower Flier, Croc Hatch, Going Batty!, Frogfish Feast, Aardvark Town, Webtastic! Creature Roundup, and Habitat Rescue. These games were considered a classic among many Wild Kratts fans even today. However, in mid-2019, PBS removed all of those games from the Games site, leaving only 11 out of the 30 games that were originally there. To see the remaining games, click this link; https://pbskids.org/wildkratts/games/

In addition, there was a Your Room feature where you can create an avatar to earn the Creature Power Suits earned from the games, and a Habitats feature to explore the regions of the Earth with the Creature Powers, yet they too, were removed.

This is an absolute disgrace to longtime fans of Wild Kratts, including myself who have been with the show since the very beginning and have come to love everything about it, from the episodes, to the characters, to the featured animals, and to the amazing creature powers shown and the lessons taught. These games were a part of that wonder as it added on to the show in great ways. As a result, removing these games is no better, nor worse than removing a piece of our childhoods.

Sign this petition, and hopefully, with enough attention, we can get PBS's attention, and their knowledge of our disappointment of their actions will hopefully be more than enough of a chance for the games and features we once knew and loved and still remember today, to return once and for all.
