According to Google, as of March 2019, they will be discontinuing their Inbox for Gmail app.

Gmail, to my knowledge, does not have: Snoozing, Bundling, a Trips feature, Smart Info Cards that show pertinent bits of info extracted from inside emails (such as package tracking, shopping order updates), and Sweeping. It also doesn't show thumbnails of image attachments when you are looking at your inbox.

Many of us use all of these features - most on a daily basis. They make managing email an absolute breeze. After trying to use Gmail for the first time in a long time, it is a cluttered and noisy mess in comparison.

Inbox is a fantastic email app, probably the best one I've ever seen. This is a terrible decision from Google.
