Whether it’s in the Kenobi series for flashbacks or a potential live action Clone Wars film or series, I think it’s time we see Hayden Christensen return to his role as Anakin Skywalker. He looks like he’s hardly aged a day and has said he’d be down to return “for sure”. Seeing him was the #1 thing I saw that fans wanted to see in “The Rise of Skywalker” and while his voice was in it, not seeing him was a pretty big let down. Despite your feelings on the sequel trilogy, it has obviously been very divisive. I think the only way to mend this relationship with the fans is for Disney to bring back fan favorites. Unfortunately it looks like Episode 9 is the last we’ll ever see of the original characters, but the prequel characters still have a few years left before it’s too late. I think getting to see some more of Anakin Skywalker is something that would make the fans very happy. It would satisfy prequel fans, clone wars fans, just fans in general and maybe even original trilogy fans who didn’t like the prequels, because maybe seeing his character handled by someone else would redeem him in their eyes (I loved his character, but I get some didn’t). Getting to see some more bada** chosen one moments, his brotherly bond with Obi-Wan, their adventures and perhaps further elaborating on the clone wars, clones and giving nods to things we saw in the cartoons, like Ahsoka, for example, I think would be a terrific move. Please Disney & Lucasfilm, #WeWantAnakin it’s not too late to show us some more of Vader before he became the man in the suit.
