Amazons brutal treatment of third party sellers is well documented and actually has been improving to some extent the last few years

There is one area where Amazon still refuses to budge and that is the policy of holding funds unilaterally based on its own determination that bad actions were taken by a seller. 

This is unfair since Amazon does not refund the buyer, it simply holds the money as a punishment and deterrent against bad actors.  Unfortunately, quite often the victim is the legitimate US and UK-based sellers caught in a web of algorithms. Billions are likely held with no recourse and for no reason. 

Inventory Destroyed, Funds Seized for what?

A Recent Arbitrators Decision against Amazon has acknowledged that this is ridiculous and has given momentum for Sellers to have their voices heard and have Amazon finally change their policy. Amazon knows in its heart of hearts that they are better than this and should finally release all the funds it is currently holding.

My broad suggestion (I am flexible) is that after 120 days if no legal case is brought against the seller, either the buyer gets refunded or the seller gets his funds. Amazon cannot hold the money playing judge, jury, and executioner.
