Dear Namibians and International friends!

We need your urgent support with opposing the bail application for Ernst Lichtenstrasser regarding the brutal and cowardly murder of our late Executive Director Mr. Eckhart Mueller and Deputy Director Mr. Helmo Hellwig on the morning of 15 April 2019.

Opposing Bail application - Elements for not granting bail:

1. Opposing the granting of bail and the release of the applicant on bail on the grounds that he is charged with serious offenses, murder and an offense under the "Arms and Ammunition act".
2. That he will abscond if released on bail.
3. That he will influence witnesses if released on bail.
4. That it is not in the interests of both the administration of justice and the public to release him out on bail.
5. No guarantee can be given that he will not harm or kill other NIMT staff or management members.
