On Saturday 15th February 2020 at approximately 11:15 pm at night, El was at work in the Duke of Wellington pub, Portobello road W11. He was subjected to a racist attack by 6 white men in their 30-40's whilst on his shift. These men do not appear to be locals.  He was verbally racially abused and attacked in an isolated room at the back of the pub.  No one came to his aid, no staff were in sight, no customers helped to defend him.   Initially the police failed to act swiftly to the matter and have not sent out a vigilant warning message to the community.   The Duke of wellington pub (Young's brewery) have failed to protect El and have demonstrated a lack of due diligence and compassion.  Racism and violence will not be tolerated in our community and no one should have to go through this.
