Why this petition matters

Video game music pieces are commonly known for being upbeat and high-action.  As a result of these traits, many flock to YouTube to listen to tracks from channels like BrawlBRSTMs3 to motivate themselves through tasks or for pure relaxation.

Recently, a few people noticed that Nintendo is doing strikes on videos, prompting BrawlBRSTMs3 to take down music.  To be fair, the music is entirely Nintendo's property and the company has the legal right.  However, people have no easy alternative of listening to tracks for upbeat motivation, relaxation, or just pure entertainment.

I do offer a few alternatives to meet both ends.  One option is to make all tracks available for purchase in as many regions as possible.  Some of the soundtracks are exclusive to Japan, so Americans would have difficulty getting access to the CDs, let alone understanding the Japanese to play the music.  Furthermore, some games like Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze have no official album released.

Another option is to release the music like most YouTube creators.  Many artists are also against copyright infringement, but they can also get their music on YouTube through services like TuneCore.  Nintendo can take a page from the artists and provide music through other services like Soundcloud.  If they want to make money, they can limit it to premium services.

Nintendo's music is very praiseworthy for having plenty of energy, and I hope that people can listen to music as motivation.
