We are one of Ashfield's oldest non-profit volunteer organisations and we run free and low cost sailing activities for children and adults in our local area. We lease our land from Ashfield council and our lease is due for renewal, the council have proposed to drastically reduce our area by between one third and a half. This will decimate our activities and we believe will ultimately lead to the closure of the club. Why are they doing this? To create more parking that they will then charge the public to use.
