This Green area in the heart of Nagpur city is an eyesore to some authorities.

They have planned an intermodal station here in the first phase and subsequently will devour the whole area converting it into a concrete jungle with commercial and office buildings.

We are not against development but not at the cost of Green Lungs of the city. Moreover the project will increase traffic many fold towards the area already bursting with trafic as roads are feeders to a large part of the city. 

The hub should be made at outskirts of the city and at a place on ring rd for better connectivity without hampering the smooth traffic flow inside the city. Can be conveniently connected by Metro to reduce burden on city roads and increasing commuter trafic on Metro rail which is having problem of less users.
