Why this petition matters

Started by Scott Poynter

Little Rock 911 dispatcher Aaron Manning was recently relieved of his duties after making the decision to self quarantine in order to protect his family during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"My mother is terminally ill with congestive heart failure, so if she got anything that would be the end for her," Aaron said. "And my father is 75 years old, so to me it was an unnecessary risk."

Aaron served the city of Little Rock for 23 years as a police officer before he retired, and even after retirement he has remained dedicated to public service as a 911 dispatcher. He was never suspended for a single day during his 23 year employment and was an upstanding officer that everyone admired and respected.

Poynter Law Group believes that Aaron was wrongfully fired. The City of Little Rock and the Little Rock Police Department need to do the right thing. Sign this petition and let's gather public support for Aaron and his family.
