Justice for Dalit Youngster Kiran Kumar

Yericherla Kiran Kumar a dalit youngster from Thomaspeta area in Chirala, Andhra Pradesh, was brutally beaten to death for the lone fault of not wearing a mask during the Covid lockdown. The perpetrator of this heinous crime SI Vijay Kumar is allegedly a relative of a ruling YSRCP leader and efforts on on to weaken the case. Kiran’s father Mohan Rao has filed a complaint against SI Vijay Kumar but no action has been taken nor any progress made.

It is time for every one of to rise above our political considerations and express our solidarity with Kiran's family. All the guilty police officials involved in this heinous crime must be punished. We wish to take this message to the National Human Rights Commission, the SC Commission and to the President of India.

కనీసం ఆసుపత్రిలో కూడా చేర్చలేదు. అంత్యక్రియలు జరిపే అవకాశం కూడా కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు ఇవ్వలేదు.

మాస్క్ పెట్టుకోనందుకు కిరణ్ ని కొట్టి చంపిన ఎస్సై విజయ్ కుమార్ పై ఎటువంటి చర్య తీసుకోలేదు. వైకాపా ముఖ్య నేత బంధువు అవ్వడంతోనే కేసుని నీరుగార్చి పోలీసుల్ని కాపాడే ప్రయత్నం జరుగుతుంది. మా కుటుంబానికి వచ్చిన కష్టం మరో కుటుంబానికి రాకూడదు అనే ఉద్దేశంతోనే పోరాడుతున్నాం.

కిరణ్ కి జరిగిన అన్యాయం మరే దళితుడికి జరగకూడదు.”
