People of Cummington Massachusetts Help Us raise the Tier-cap for Cannabis Establishments
Why this petition matters
Thank you to the town and residents for allowing us to become the first non-equity black and women-owned cannabis cultivation standalone establishment in Massachusetts. We also hold the honor of being the first LGBTQ and veteran-owned cultivation establishment on the East coast. We were happy to have opened with the help of the community; however, JustinCredible may have to relocate from Cummington due to restrictive bylaws.
Unknown to us, while developing plans on a new, 75,000 sq ft canopy/facility, there were laws set in place that will limit us from growing as a premium brand. Not only would this expansion be beneficial to JCC but the town of Cummington would see great benefits as well. The new facility would provide the city with over $3 million in tax revenue per year, positively impacting schools, medical facilities, law enforcement expansion, and more. Another thing we aspire to provide to the town is new job growth. This expansion would be adding over 120 new unskilled jobs to the local economy while the national unemployment rate still stands at 6.2%. Cummington residents would have first priority in the hiring process. Over 30+ jobs such as facility technicians, security officers, cultivation agents, and packaging technicians will start from $17 an hour and would not require experience or physical standards while being friendly to all legal ages and disabilities.
Our Mission / Vision
JustinCredible Cultivation (JCC) focuses on ingredients that yield high-quality growth. This gives our consumers a more home-grown-based experience to a commercial grow. Using high-quality equipment, and the best practices, our grow shines in the industry. We will grow the brand of JCC by focusing on people before profit, as well as the product quality.
Our vision is to be a great example of a small business entering into a market made for giants. Expanding rapidly while helping develop the community simultaneously is a long-term goal of our company. Changing the misconceptions about cannabis use and educating the community will be at the forefront of our agenda while also upholding the standards/regulations of the state of Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.
What we promise once we get your support
Remain a home-grown environment and abide by the community’s culture
Leave a low carbon footprint on the town
