Hey everyone!

Since the lockdown began, countless couples have been painfully separated from the person they love, for months on end, as a result of the travel restrictions implemented between EU/Non-EU countries.

In recent weeks and months, countries throughout Europe have begun taking steps to recognise that, as the pandemic continues, changes need to be made to travel restrictions in order to acknowledge the needs of individuals whose lives have been put on hold since the crisis began.

While reunification is open to married couples, with families and children, many of us are not married and do not have children - but is this the measure of love?

Many of us had planned lives together and were in the process of realising this dream when the restrictions came into place and are still not recognised by it.

Belgium remains one of the last countries in Europe to recognise that love is not tourism.
