There is a proposal to the Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD)  to extract bulk water from the Chilliwack River Valley for personal commercial gain. This proposal is requesting non-farm use of Agricultural Land Reserve (ALR) land to fill tanker trucks with water, truck it to a facility, and sell it. 

We love this valley and want to protect its water in perpetuity.

We're opposed to this application. Why? 

Climate change demands we start putting protection over profits.

We are asking the Fraser Valley Regional District Directors to reject this application, and commit to true stewardship for our area water going forward.
