Sign this petition in honour of Shannon, Cheryl and every female out there who's been kidnapped or who's going through gender based violence. Who's been raped, killed, sexually harrassed and trafficked. We are told to wear less revealing clothes, to not walk alone at night to not take public transportation after a certain time. We are told to take these precautions because certain individuals cannot control their sexual urges or because they think they have rights over us. Even in schools females are told to wear longer skirts or dresses. They are told to cover up their skin because males could get distracted. How sexist is that? Are they not human? Can they not control themselves? They should be able to control themselves. Her wearing revealing clothes was not the reason she got raped! Her smiling back was not the reason she was raped! Her walking alone at night was not the reason she was raped! The rapist was the reason and always will be! The law enforces and government aren't addressing this situation or aren't giving it the attention it needs. We've been quiet for way too long and watched our moms ,sisters ,girlfriends ,grandmothers and aunts be killed ,raped or violated at the hands of Men.

IF YOU THE LAW ENFORCES WON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT WE MIGHT AS WELL TAKE JUSTICE IN OUR OWN HANDS.
