Why this petition matters

Islamabad based freelance journalist, social media activist and blogger Muhammad Bilal Khan, who was only 22 year old, was brutally murdered on Sunday night 16th June, 2019.

Bilal Khan received a phone call from an unidentified man asking him to come to Islamabad's G-9 sector. He went there along with his uncle and was stabbed 17 times by unknown individuals. His uncle Ehtasham ul Haq also got attacked and they both were transported to a local hospital but Bilal succumbed to his injuries.

The law enforcement agency had seized his mobile phone for further investigation but it is very upsetting to report that his murderers have not been arrested as of yet. It is a big question mark on the progress of the police and security personnel in the capital city Islamabad.

We demand fair investigation without any delays. We hope our appeal will not fall on deaf ears and the authorities will provide speedy justice because we believe that "justice delayed is justice denied".

We request everyone of you to sign this petition and support us in seeking justice for Muhammad Bilal Khan.
