Who is Conker you say?

For those who aren't aware, Conker T. Squirrel is the main protagonist of the Conker series created by Rare, also known for Banjo-Kazooie.

Conker is a red squirrel that made his debut as a playable character in Diddy Kong Racing, afterwards he was moved on to star in his own series starting with his N64 title Twelve Tales: 64 (formerly named Conker Quest), a platformer marked towards young audiences, however it was seen as too similar to Banjo-Kazooie (another platforming animal kid friendly game), the game was completely revamped into a gritty, foul, violent, adult orientated game famously known as Conker's Bad Fur Day where instead of being a happy chipper little fellow, Conker eventually grew up to become a wise-cracking, alcoholic, cash-grubbing anti-hero.

Years went by as there hasn't been a proper full-fledged Conker game ever since....however, perhaps Super Smash Bros Director Masahiro Sakurai could do the drunken rodent justice at last....

Conker’s main obstacle is that he’s relatively obscure and unknown in Japan as Bad Fur Day never hit a release there, but with the same research and assistance Rare gave the Smash dev team for the Banjo series, it’s very well possible the same could happen for Conker with it’s classic satirical British humor into Smash Bros.

We as a Smash and Rare community were incredibly happy and grateful that you were able to finally bring the iconic Bear and Bird duo Banjo-Kazooie into Smash Ultimate but perhaps there’s one more forgotten Rare fellow invited into the party so he can fight along his old buddy Diddy and several former Nintendo colleagues!

Chris Seavor himself (Designer and Voice of Conker) is very much open to the idea and we’re curious to know if Phil Spencer will advocate the squirrel’s inclusion to the battle the same way he did for Banjo!

Please do not take this as needless begging or hostile protesting, this petition is created to garner interest and support with the Conker fanbase and Rareware community so we as the fans wish to take this into a very civil matter and hope for the very least you take him for consideration in DLC fighter development.
