Why this petition matters

Started by Jun B

We recently discovered that 359 Broadway (Blood Manor Haunted House) is applying for a liquor license from noon-2AM.

As a family living in this neighborhood, we already do NOT approve of 359 Broadway's haunted mansion activities, which created long lines of loud and drunk people loitering late into the night for several weekends around Halloween. We certainly do NOT want the space to get a liquor license so it can turn into a party space year round.

Over the past month, we discovered that Blood Manor has also been hosting illegal club parties complete with bouncers, club promoters, and long lines of drunk and belligerent partygoers who defecate on nearby buildings and trash the streets with empty bottles. They play music at a decibel that causes our whole building to rumble. Marijuana smoke has also constantly been wafting into our unit. We called the police on them - the police shut down the party after Blood Manor couldn't produce a permit.

We can't imagine the nuisance Blood Manor will pose to our residential community if they get the liquor license approval.
