Why this petition matters

Started by Leo Anderson

On June 12th, 2020, the Trump Administration repealed laws protecting LGBT people and their right to receive healthcare services.

Although LGBT people are still able to receive healthcare, they can be denied medical attention. This decision was made on the four-year anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub shooting, a gay bar located in Orlanda, Florida.

We must stand up for our right to receive medical attention and to not be discriminated against/refused those services. We will fight for our rights and we will not back down. Do not let the Trump Administration take away basic rights from induviduals just because they are LGBT. The removal of these laws is unethical and the Trump Administration needs to face the consequences of it.

Reinstate laws protecting LGBT individuals NOW.
