Hello! 

I may be young, but I am trying to stop Canadian Seal Slaughter (see details below). I just have a few things I would like to tell you. If you would not like to read this, you can read about the Canadian Seal Slaughter towards the bottom. 

    This society is so bad to begin with. We kill each other for no reason, we abuse animals more violently than ever. 

At this very moment, animals in the rain forest are losing their homes just so that people can use the trees and plants for rubber and pencils in America, which we already have enough of! 38,627 animals are slaughtered for food per minute, in the U.S. alone!

Everyone deserves a second chance, right? 

Animals are chained at circuses, in people's backyards. They are set on fire, experimented on and killed. They are euthanized in shelters, not because it's their fault but that the animal shelters are very full and cannot take in anymore animals. Animals are skinned alive for us. They are killed for us. For fashion. 

We are animals. Humans are animals. We just don't realize it... We are a SPECIES of animals. We just think we're so intelligent, powerful. When we look at a sea turtle, we might just be looking at the more intelligent creature on earth. After all, they can merely look at the sun and know what time in the day it is, while we have to look at a clock or an iPhone.

used to pray every night, asking God to stop this, that someone, just someone put a stop it. But I finally realized - we can't just expect that someone is going to come in and make everything better. We have to work together. Even the smallest bit, like donating a can of cat food to your local animal shelter, or donating old books to a homeless family can go so far. We must work together for this to stop. We kill animals for human benefits. There are children that need that old barbie doll more than you do. 

It doesn't matter what you look like... What you like to do... What you do for a living... It's what's inside that counts. I believe that just by reading this, you have the purest of hearts. I believe that you will take a large step by helping me, by signing this petition. You will be saving an animal's life. 

    So, please, please just click that, "Sign Petition" button, I beg you. I will be able to stop an animal from being tortured. Even the smallest bits, it'll all add up in the end.

Every year, the Canadian government allows sealers to shoot and bludgeon tens of thousands of seals to death. Sometimes, it takes more than one blow to the head for a seal to die. And most times, they're left to die slowly and painfully on the ice. This cruelty continues, even though all major markets have banned seal-fur imports, including the U.S., the E.U., and Russia. And what's all this for? Fur. Fashion.

This is cruel and awful, and it needs to stop this moment... We have to make it history. 

There is some good news, though: This cruelty has almost come to an end. 

But these beautiful animals still need your help. Even if the slaughter isn't as violent as before, it's still happening - every day, every second...
