Justin Trudeau has made many promises to the Indigenous people of Canada during his campaign and time as Prime Minister. Yet he has acted on/fulfilled next to nothing in this regard. All his promises have been empty leaving the indigenous people of Canada vulnerable and without support. One of the big issues that is currently in debate is the pipeline that the Canadian government is attempting to install. This pipeline will directly impact indigenous peoples and contradicts the idea of reconciliation Trudeau said he was aiming for. Over two thirds of the indigenous communities who's opinions were consulted in relation to the pipeline said they DIDNT want it to be installed. Urge the Canadian government to live up to their promises and specifically to Trudeau to work towards treating Indigenous peoples With the respect and compassion he has yet to deliver.
