Why this petition matters

Started by Miss Taxi Ghana

Grace is a young Kenyan woman and a mother, whose story was brought to light by BBC Africa Eye Investigative documentary and premiered on several social media handles of BBC, on the 16th of December.

The documentary highlights how several african human trafficking groups lures African women to india from Africa, only to be forced into sex work to satisfy the demands of many African men in Delhi-India.

Grace, who was trafficked from her country Kenya, went undercover to expose the operations of the sophisticated illegal sex work, together with the lead investigative journalist for the documentary. However, as the documentary rolled up to conclusion, it ended with Grace being assisted to leave India to settle back home and reunite with her family in Kenya.

Unfortunately, with the premiering of the documentary days ago, Grace's life and that of her young daughter will never be the same as these sophisticated trafficking groups, with their base in Kenya, can easily hunt her down and harm her or ultimately assassinate her or any member of her family.

We calling on BBC to help start and spearhead an asylum case for Grace and her daughter to be safely relocated in the UK! SAFE HAVEN FOR GRACE AND YOUNG DAUGHTER!
