PETITION TO

 

CENSURE CARMINE PERRELLI

 

 

This petition is from the good people in the City of Richmond Hill, Ontario who are

 

concerned about behaviours and decision-making over their lives and homes. Many of these

 

same good citizens have viewed or read investigative reporting of the CBC Fifth Estate

 

( links below ).

 

 

 

This petition is an open call to the Mayor and governing Richmond Hill Council to immediately

 

censure Mr. Carmine Perrelli, a City and Regional Councillor; and also an owner in a business

 

providing for-profit foster care, to the late Richmond Hill resident, David Roman, a child of 15

 

years, murdered February 19, 2019, while in the care of Mr. Perrelli’s business.

 

 

 

Signing this petition, you emphatically encourage Mayor David Barrow to lead and expedite

 

this matter, first by holding a Special Council Meeting before March 3, 2021 to discuss and

 

subsequently ensure :

 

 

• That the ceremonial title of Deputy Mayor of Richmond Hill is prohibited from use by Councillor Perrelli for the balance of this term ( November 30, 2022 ); and

 

• That Councillor Perrelli takes out a full-page advertisement in the Liberal Newspaper apologizing to residents for negative promotion and damage to the City’s good name and brand. And until this is undertaken, Councillor Perrelli be banned from entering City Hall and all other City-owned buildings. In addition, until undertaken, he be prohibited from attending City Council meetings or Regional Council meetings in person or via electronic means ; and

 

• That his salary as a City and Regional Councillor be docked at sufficient levels and sufficient time to admonish him for conduct unbecoming an office holder of City and Regional Councillor, and henceforth also serves to remind him to conduct himself responsibly and in the same upright manner all citizens in this good City strive for.
