Please help end this cruelty. They have had so much previous neglect and and they just cover their tracks and hide horses when they are being inspected. It has came to my attention that the owner is an inspector for the ABRS which is why he is getting away with it. They are hiding horses when they are due inspections and covering their tracks. Please also call SSPCA, British Horse Society and World Horse Welfare.

STORMS STORY 

I used to own the most amazing, sweet-natured and handsome horse.
I bought this guy when he was six and he really was loved by everyone that met him, one of those ‘one in a million’ horses. Truly.

Sadly, when I had my first child I was no longer in a position to keep Storm. I had no choice in the end but to let him go.

Tonight it has been brought to my attention that Storm has ended up in a place no horse ever should.
Upon seeing photos my heart is shattered. His eyes - dead ��

Storm is now around 27/28 years old, was diagnosed with a heart murmur a long time ago and should not be in a riding school.
I’m told he has been seen to regularly collapse in his stable.

I immediately contacted the place who currently have this poor soul.
I have begged them to sell him to me. He is worth nothing to them and they are crying out for money due to the world we are all finding ourselves in.
They will not consider selling him to me.
I have offered to pay, explained he will come back to the place he used to live and be loved. He will be retired (as he should’ve been long before now), he will be reunited with horses who are now happily living in retirement that he used to know. He would be loved and looked after as he should.

I am currently trying to trace his real owner as I’m also led to believe that the place who currently have him do not actually own him... he is on loan to them.
I do not know if this is true or not but it is worth a shot.

I owe this horse more than I can ever give him and will not rest until I see him being cared for as he should.

The riding establishment he is currently in is called Horse Haven Riding School in the Glasgow area.
