My son Ryan Matthew Smith was shot 12 times by Seattle Police on May 8, 2019. Ryan died of the multiple gun shot wounds. The Seattle Police Department is known for their racial profiling of individuals and for shooting instantly and not caring for human life, in particular those that are black or minorities. Killer cops in Seattle know there will be no consequences for taking a life as in the history of Washington State not one officer has ever been prosecuted for murdering anyone. Since Ryans senseless murder, many more black men have died at the hands of police, In Seattle and in Tacoma WA.  One of the officers that shot Ryan has shot others and has killed 2 other black men. These officers need to be charged with murder. Police brutality needs to STOP NOW!
