Amazon released the Fire Recast in November 2018 as a cord-cutting solution for people who wanted to receive over the air signals via an HD antenna and have the ability to record these programs via a 500 GB or 1 TB DVR. 

Many users have recieved a notification on some channels that says: Weak or No Signal, Try repositioning your satellite to improve reception. This signal is particularly noxious in that it appears every 10 seconds at the bottom of the screen.

This is despite reception being perfect on these channels. Many users have tried new antennas, mounting positions, etc. and the problem has persisted.

However, Amazon has yet to respond to this known issue. 

The purpose of this petition is to improve the awareness of this issue and force Amazon to take action on what should be a simple fix to their software.
