Why this petition matters

Started by Courtney Weaver

While it is important to acknowledge the tireless and courageous efforts of human healthcare workers on the frontlines, the veterinary workforce should also be recognized.  This is because veterinary hospitals have been essential businesses since the beginning of the pandemic.

Veterinarians, veterinary nurses/technicians, as well as veterinary assistants and staff, have shown their unwavering commitment to animal healthcare.  In doing so, hospitals have modified protocols in accordance with safety guidelines to keep employees, clients, and their beloved animals safe.

By signing this petition, you can show your appreciation for the employees in the veterinary profession and acknowledge their mission to keep animals healthy during this uncertain time.  Please sign your name and spread positivity about the resilience of the veterinary field.
