L’Europe mérite mieux que ce gâchis.

Les citoyens britanniques ont voté. Nous respectons leur vote. Mais force est de constater que nombreux sont ceux qui, en Grande-Bretagne, après avoir choisi la sortie de l’Union Européenne, l’ont regretté dès le lendemain de ce référendum. D’autant qu’ils réalisaient brutalement que plusieurs des arguments qui leur avaient été présentés étaient mensongers, de l’aveu même de leaders tenant du Brexit.

Le référendum du 23 Juin 2016 n’étant pas contraignant juridiquement et le gouvernement britannique n’ayant pas encore engagé la procédure de sortie de l’Union Européenne, une pétition lancée à l’initiative de citoyens britanniques réclame un nouveau vote.

Nous, citoyens européens convaincus du bien-fondé d’un projet européen humaniste soutenons cette initiative. Au nom des valeurs qui nous sont communes, nous appelons de nos vœux un nouveau vote en Grande- Bretagne. Il est encore temps de retrouver le chemin de l’union pour construire, enfin et ensemble, un autre visage de l’Europe, celui d’une Europe synonyme de liberté, de progrès, de prospérité, de justice sociale et de paix.*

Europe deserves better than this mess.

British citizens have voted. and we respect their vote. But it is clear that many people in Britain, after deciding the exit of the European Union regretted their choice the day after the referendum.The British people realized that many of the arguments that had been submitted to them were false, as admitted by Brexit leadership. June 23 2016 referendum is not legally binding and the British government has not yet initiated the exit procedure for the European Union, a petition launched on the initiative of British citizens is calling for a new vote.

We, European citizens are convinced of the merits of a humanist European project and we support this initiative. On behalf of the values ​​that we share, we are calling for a new vote in Britain. There is still time to find the way to build the union, and finally together, another face of Europe. An Europe synonymous with freedom, progress, prosperity, social justice and peace.

Europa no merece este derroche.

Los ciudadanos británicos han votado y nosotros  respetamos su voto. Pero hay que constatar que son numerosos los británicos  que  al día siguiente de votar  por referéndum la salida de la Unión Europea, se han arrepentido de haberlo hecho. Sobre todo al comprobar que varios de los argumentos utilizados  por les defensores del Brexit eran falsos, según han reconocido algunos líderes partidarios del mismo.

El referéndum du 23 de  Junio 2016 no es vinculante jurídicamente y dado que el  gobierno británico  no ha comenzado todavía  los trámites  de salida de la Unión Europea, numerosos ciudadanos británicos han tomado la decisión  de reclamar una nueva votación.

Nosotros ciudadanos europeos convencidos de lo bien fundado de un  proyecto europeo humanista sostenemos esta iniciativa. En nombre de los valores que nos son comunes deseamos que esta votación sea una realidad. Todavía estamos a tiempo de  volver al camino de la unión y  construir juntos una Europa de libertad, de progreso, de prosperidad, de justicia social et de paz. 

Europa verdient meer dan deze knoeiboel.

De Britse burgers hebben gestemd. We respecteren hun stem. Maar we moeten wel vaststellen dat er velen zijn die, in Groot Britannië, nadat ze voor het verlaten van de Europese Unie hadden gekozen, het de dag na het referendum betreurd hebben. Des te meer omdat ze beseften dat de verschillende hun voorgelegde bewijzen vals waren, zoals sommige leaders van de Brexit trouwens zelf erkennen.

Aangezien het referendum van 23 juni 2016 juridisch niet bindend is en de Britse regering de procedure voor het verlaten van de Europese Unie nog niet is gestart, eist een op initiatief van Britse burgers uitgegeven petitie een nieuwe stemming.

Wij, Europese burgers die overtuigd zijn van de gegrondheid van een europees humanistisch project, ondersteunen dit initiatief. In naam van waarden die we gemeen hebben, wensen wij een nieuwe stemming. Het is nog tijd het pad van de eenheid weer te vinden om, eindelijk en samen, een ander gezicht van Europa op te bouwen, een gezicht dat synoniem staat met vrijheid, vooruitgang, welvaart, maatschappelijke rechtvaardigheid en vrede.

L’Europa merita meglio di questo spreco.

I cittadini britannici hanno votato. Rispettiamo il loro voto. Ma bisogna prendere atto che sono in tanti nel Regno Unito quelli che, dopo aver scelto l’uscita dell’unione europea, se ne sono pentiti il giorno dopo il referendum. A maggior ragione quando hanno scoperto che gli argomenti a loro serviti erano invece falsi, lo hanno confessato gli stessi promotori di Brexit.

Il referendum del 23 giugno 2016 non essendo giuridicamente vincolante e visto che il governo britannico non ha ancora aperto la procedura per l’uscita dell’Unione europea, una petizione è lanciata all’iniziativa di cittadini britannici per chiedere un nuovo voto.

Noi, cittadini europei, convinti della validità di un grande progetto europeo umanista appoggiamo questa iniziativa. Nel nome dei valori che condividiamo, chiediamo un nuovo voto nel Regno Unito. Facciamo ancora in tempo per ritrovare la strada dell’Unione per dare, finalmente e insieme, un nuovo volto all’Europa, quello di un’Europa sinonimo di libertà, di progresso, di prosperità, di giustizia sociale e di pace.

Kära britter, rösta om - vi stöder er!

Britterna har röstat. Vi respekterar deras val, men konstaterar att många av de som valde att rösta för en Brexit ångrade sitt val redan dagen efter omröstningen då ledarna för "Leave"-sidan erkände att flera av argumenten för ett utträde inte överensstämde med verkligheten.

Med stöd i det faktum att omröstningen den 23 juni 2016 inte är juridiskt bindande och att den brittiska regeringen ännu inte har startat utträdesprocessen, har en namninsamling lanserats i Storbritannien som kräver en ny omröstning.

Vi, europeiska medborgare, övertygade om värdet av det humanistiska europeiska projektet EU, på basis av alla de värden som vi har gemensamt, understöder initiativet till en ny omröstning i Storbritannien. Än finns det möjlighet att hitta en väg för att bygga ett annat Europa, synonymt med frihet, framsteg, social rättvisa och fred.
