The purpose of this petition is to resolve the current issues in animal welfare in Kuwait. We need as many supporters as possible.

Unfortunately, many house animals get neglected and abandoned on a regular basis by irresponsible individuals. Microchipping must become mandatory in order to hold animal owners responsible to avoid abandonment. 

There are many unlicensed breeders that are endangering the lives of animals by overbreeding and interbreeding animals. These individuals lack the necessary skills and compassion to handle animals in their private properties. Breeding must be strictly forbidden by the government unless licensed by an official firm.

The quality of animal lives in Kuwait Friday Market is very poor. Most shops have workers that lack essential skills to handle and take care of animals. Sick animals are being sold or abandoned by the shop owners. Many animals are left without water, food, litter, and essential needs for a long period of time. Some animals are kept in small cages which prevents them from moving comfortably.
 

Please sign this petition in order to:

1. Urge veterinary hospitals to operate on a 24-hour basis.

2. Enforce laws against animal abuse in Kuwait. Clear instructions must be given to the public in case of witnessing an animal being abused or abandoned.

3. Monitor and inspect the quality of animal handling and sale in Friday Market. Provide health and safety measures to shop owners in Friday Market. Give heavy penalties in case of witnessing animal neglect or abuse!

4. Ban shops from selling artificially coloured/painted animals.

5. Provide government funds to the non-profit rescue groups. 

6. Run TNVR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Release) program to combat overpopulation and the spread of infectious diseases among stray animals. 

7. Require all veterinary clinics to only accept a microchipped pet where applicable.

الغرض من هذه العريضه هو حل المشكلات الحاليه المتعلقة برعاية الحيوان في الكويت.
يتم إهمال العديد من الحيوانات المنزلية و التخلي عنها من قبل افراد غير مسؤولين لذا يجب ان تكون هناك قوانين صارمه تمنع اصحاب الحيوانات من التخلي عنها.

هناك العديد من مربيين الحيوانات الغير مرخصين و يعرضون حياة الحيوانات للخطر بسبب الافراط في تربية الحيوانات و تهجينها، هؤلاء الافراد يفتقرون الى المهارات اللازمه و الرحمه للتعامل مع الحيوانات لذا يجب ان تحظر الحكومة بشكل صارم تربية الحيوانات من غير ترخيص من شركة رسمية.

جودة حياة الحيوانات في سوق الجمعة بالكويت سيئة للغاية و يوجد في معظم المتاجر عمال يفتقرون الى المهارات الأساسية للتعامل مع الحيوانات و العناية بها، يتم بيع الحيوانات المريضة او المتخلي عنها من قبل المتاجر و تترك العديد من الحيوانات بدون ماء و طعام و احتياجات اساسية لفتره طويله من الزمن. يتم ايضا الاحتفاظ ببعض الحيوانات في اقفاص صغيرة مما يمنعها من التحرك بشكل مريح.

الرجاء التوقيع على هذه العريضه من اجل:

١-حث المستشفيات البيطرية على العمل على مدار ٢٤ ساعة.

٢- تطبيق قوانين مكافحة الإساءة للحيوانات في الكويت و يجب اعطاء تعليمات واضحة للجمهور في حالة مشاهدة حيوان يتعرض للإساءة او التخلي عنه.

٣-مراقبة و فحص جودة تداول الحيوانات و بيعها في سوق الجمعةو توفير اجراءات الصحة و السلامة لأصحاب المحلات في سوق الجمعة. يجب أن يتم فرض عقوبات مشددة و مخالفات مباشرة لمن يسيء التعامل مع الحيوانات ، عند إهمالهم أو تعريضهم للأذى

٤-منع المحلات التجارية من بيع الحيوانات الملونة.

٥- توفير دعم و اموال لمجموعات الإنقاذ غير الربحية.

٦-تطبيق برنامج TNVR
المعروفة أيضًا باسم Trap-neuter-vaccinate-return ، طريقة لمحاولة إدارة القطط المنزلية المجانية المتجولة بطريقة إنسانية وفعالة. تتضمن العملية اصطياد القطط على الهواء مباشرة ، وتعقيمها عن طريق تعقيمها أو تحييدها ، ومنحنى الأذن للتعرف عليها ، وإن أمكن ، تطعيمها ، ثم إطلاقها مرة أخرى في أراضيها.

٧- الطلب من جميع العيادات البيطريه قبول الحيوانات ذات الرقائق الدقيقة فقط.
