The Vice President of U.S.A Breakin', Jonathan Escotto (A.K.A. B-boy Xcel), has been outed as having sexually assaulted a prominent b-girl in the community, with several other women privately affirming similar stories of harassment and abuse at his hands.

Not only does this misconduct run counter to the values of the breaking community, but it also violates the basic principles and ethics of the Olympic Games and its protective body, Safesport. We demand that Escotto immediately step down from his position on U.S.A Breakin' and all other public roles representing the dance. Should he fail to do so, we call on U.S.A Breakin' and Safesport to expel him from his seat on the DanceSport Council or any other body representing breaking. Sexual predation has no place in the community and it is time that abusers face accountability for their actions.
