Why this petition matters

Started by cat still

Promote female equality in MotoGP by encouraging teams to stop using the outdated Paddock Girls on the grid. MotoGP is amazingly progressive in the world of sport by offering a level playing field for females and males to compete side by side at the highest level. It's time for change regarding the use of women dressed in skimpy outfits to hold the umbrellas for the riders on the grid.

The MotoGP track day is a family event and the use of women dressed provocatively is not conducive to this environment. Lets encourage the use of male and female umbrella holders to promote the team brand in a way that all ages can enjoy.

Let's ensure young women feel taken seriously for what they can contribute and not just as objects!
